Bridges Health & Community Care
Bridges is on a mission to improve the health, social, and economic outcomes for people of all ages and communities. Bridges is the leading provider of community-based mental health and drug and alcohol services in the Wide Bay-Burnett Region, and the longest established.
We offer a range of interventions from psychological services, NDIS services, care coordination for people with serious mental illness and complex needs, through to counselling for youth, adults, families and carers.
We offer training and mental health promotion services to increase awareness and understanding of mental illness, drugs and alcohol and to reduce stigma and discrimination.
We offer comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment services for people with problematic drug and alcohol issues. We provide treatment across all types of drug use, including cannabis, methamphetamine (ICE), misuse of pharmaceuticals like codeine, solvent misuse (sniffing) and even tobacco.
We provide drug and alcohol counselling, comprehensive assessments, case management and practical support to address other issues that are impacting on your recovery or goals to reduce alcohol or drugs.
Bridges “No Wrong Door” policy ensures that people won’t be turned away from our services because they don’t fit into some neat little box. We help and support you to address both your mental health and drug and alcohol concerns through co-locating our psychology and mental health staff at our drug and alcohol offices and centres and employing staff that can help people with both.
