Peer Qnect

Peer Qnect is a free, confidential service providing peer support, information and advocacy to people who use substances across Queensland, including those on the opioid treatment program (methadone, subutex, etc) or seeking treatment. * Know your rights and get support with incidents of stigma or discrimination
* Safer substance use – prevent and treat overdose, hep c, and other IRIDs (injecting
related injuries and disease)
* Opioid treatment support/advocacy/mediation – we can go into bat for you with doctor or pharmacist, or support folks to access the program if they are having trouble finding a prescriber
* Post-release support (after prison, rehab or hospital) – support around the transition back into the community
* Goal setting and treatment planning.
* Support and information for loved ones or communities of people who use substances
